Slow Cooker Barbecue Sauce

  • 18 oz. tomato paste
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup prepared yellow mustard
  • ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  1. Mix all ingredients well and pour into slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 3-4 hours.
  3. Use immediately or remove from heat and cool. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freezer for up to 6 months. Leave at least one inch headroom to allow for expansion in the freezer.
