My Wag said they changed their RR not to accept mfg coupons combined. It worked on the shave gel, I paid $.90 for two. On colgate toothpaste where I would have received $.50 profit, it did not work. Bummer.
Hi Cheri – Sorry that deal didn’t work for you! In almost all cases, you can use mfr coupons and still get the RR. Sometimes RR’s don’t print and the cashier/manager doesn’t know why so they feed you some hogwash like that.
Reasons it may not have printed:
-If you use a RR from a previous deal to pay for part of your order, sometimes that causes certain RR’s not to print.
- Other than that there have been rare occasions (three I can think of) where a particular coupon has the exact same barcode numbers as the RR, in which case the RR won’t print.
-Cash register catalina machine is improperly programmed, jammed our out of ink. Usually the case.
I will ask around and see if other folks have had this same problem. Thanks for letting me know. You can call 1-888-8COUPON to contact Catalina Marketing and let them know you didn’t get your RR. I have done this in the past and they send it to me by mail. You’ll need to have your receipt on hand to answer questions about store number, etc.
Thanks, I made them take it off my order. I’ll try it at another wag.
