Another $5 Dinner idea, this time from Wal Mart Supercenter. Prices will vary a little from store to store. Here’s what I’ll be cooking up from the San Antonio area stores:
Crock Pot Taco Soup
- 1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans
- 1 (16 ounce) can white beans or kidney beans

- 4 cans Muir Glen Fire Roasted Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope taco seasoning mix

- 1 lb ground beef
Cook beef and drain. Add all ingredients to crock pot and stir. Cook on medium for 2-3 hours. Garnish with whatever you have on hand: sour cream, shredded cheese, chopped green onions, or tortilla chips.

These look great!!! I like how you include the coupons. That’s a great idea!

If you have the spices on hand, you could always make your own seasonings…I do and keep them in little tupperware containers.
