Below you will find a list of what I have purchased so far this year. For those of you who are just joining us, this list was created in early January as a way to help me focus my couponing efforts on a few essential items rather than grabbing whatever is free or cheap with a coupon.  I wanted to be able to measure my progress and buy things that would actually put a dent in my budget!

PERSONAL CAREThis category has been the easiest to accomplish with all the drug store deals.

Mustard – 7 (goal 6)
Mayo – 9 (goal 6)

Why So Many?
My goal is to arrive at December 31st 2013 and have a 6-12 month stockpile of all items listed. That means I need to buy enough to sustain us for this year AND next year. With a family of 7, that adds up quickly. For now I am keeping a grand total, and then near the end of the year, I will take inventory of what is left in my stockpile to see how close I came. Some items we are using faster than I expected and others are not being used as much.
