If there is ANY overage, the Walgreens near me won't let you use the coupon. I've tried to get them to adjust the price of the coupon or the price of the item so its even, but they say they can't. Yes, I've tried the manager…
It worked for me! I found the peelie and had the dollar off coupon so free!!
Randi – seems like when the cashier has it wrong it's because someone trained him/her wrong so its not too surprising that the mgr says the same thing =( If you like, you can go to the bottom of my WALGREENS 101 post and print off the communications i've had with corporate. One of them says the cashier is suppose to adjust the value of the coupon down so that the purchase price is zero
