My $10 Stockpiling Haul: Week 7

Welcome to the $10 Weekly Stockpiling Challenge. If you’re here for the first time, you can read all about the challenge HERE or scroll through HERE to see reader success stories.

After reviewing all the sales this week, I decided on CVS once again for my stockpile shopping. I have been pleasantly surprised at the great deals they’re having on essentials, along with a steady flow of in-store coupons.

Last week the coupon machine gave me a $3 off $15 coupon which was still valid. On top of that, I had a $5 ECB left over and managed to earn another $5 ECB from the beauty club for my body and hair care purchases over the past few weeks. Bonus! If that wasn’t enough I got a coupon via email for $4 off $20.  You can see how being a regular shopper at CVS really pays off when you get all these little extras!

Beginning Cash Balance: $5.31 from last week + $10 for this week = $15.31.
Here’s what I did:

{Transaction #1}
(4) All Small & Mighty Laundry Detergent 24 ct. @ $7.99, B1G1 free = $15.98
(3) Colgate Total Toothpaste 4 oz. 3/$6
-$4 off $20 CVS coupon
-$5 ECB from last week
-$5 ECB from Beauty Club
$2/2 All printable, used two
-$0.50/1 Colgate 2/10 SS insert, used three
Final Price: $2.48, earned $3 ECB for Colgate purchase and $5 Savingstar Deposit for All Laundry purchase

{Transaction #2}
My store was out of Angel Soft Bath Tissue so they allowed a substitution of Charmin Basic 12 pack double rolls and gave me the same price and the $2 ECB (see page 1 of sale ad).

(2) Charmin Basic 12 pk. double roll 2/$10
(3) Colgate Total 4 oz. 3/$6
(2) Poise Pantiliners @ $4.99 = $9.98
-$3 off $15 CVS coupon from Magic Coupon Machine
-$3 ECB from transaction #1
-$0.25/1 Charmin 1/27 PG insert, used two
-$0.50/1 Colgate 2/10 SS insert, used three
$3/1 CVS printable – Poise, used two
-$3/1 Poise 2/10 SS insert, used two
Final Price: $5.98, earned $3 ECB for Colgate and $2 ECB for Charmin

Grand Total Spent: $8.46
Left Over: $6.85 in cash, $5 in ECBs and $5 Savingstar deposit! The Savingstar cash will be available in my account within 2-30 days. Once it is, I can cash out using Paypal and add it to my stockpile fund and buy more stuff.

Smaller haul than last week, but I’m still pretty happy since I only really spent $3.46 after I get my Savingstar deposit. Total:

(24) Bath Tissue double rolls
(96) Loads Laundry Detergent
(6) Toothpaste

The Poise is not on my stockpile list but it was a money maker.

Here’s what my stockpile looks like so far:
60 Bath Tissues Double Rolls (goal: 364)
12 Body Wash (goal: 24)
12 Deodorant (goal: 24)
