-$1/1 coupon doubled = $.69 each

(8) Suave Deodorants $1
-$0.50/1 coupon doubled = free!

(14) Cherry Chapsticks $1
-$0.50/1 coupon doubled = free!

(4) Tresemme Volume Spray on clearance $1
-$1.75/1 peelies = $0.75 profit per bottle

(5) Suave Shampoo & Conditioner $1.88
-$2/1 peelies = $0.12 profit per bottle

Total 34 items $1.53 profit!

Stacy put her $10 to work at a Double Coupon event too, and here is what she got:

-$1.50/3 coupons = $2.94

(2) Mahatma’s Rice $0.99
-$0.50/1 coupon = made 2 cents

(2) Zatarans Rice Mixes$0.99
-$0.50/1 = made 2 cents

(2) Ocean Spray Grapefruit Juice $1.99
-$2/1 coupons = made 2 cents

(2) Pop Tarts $1.49
-$1/1 coupon = $0.98

(5) Betty Crocker Mac and Cheese $0.49 = $2.45

(2) Wholly Salsa $1.49
-$1.50/1 coupons = made 2 cents

(2) All Detergent $2.49
-$2/2 coupon = $2.98

Total = $9.27

Kassie stretched her bucks with a trip to Albertson’s and Walgreens to pick up the following:

Albertson’s (note: store was having a deal this week where all manufacturer’s coupons rounded up to $1)
(5) boxes cereal @ $1.88 = $9.40
-$0.75/1 Honey Nut Cheerios Medley printable, used 2 (rounded up to $1 each)
-$0.50/1 Chex printable, used 2 (rounded up to $1 each)
-$0.50/1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch, (rounded up to $1)
Final Price: $4.40 for all

(2) Old Spice High Endurance Deodorants clearance @ $2.20 = $4.40
-$1/2 Old Spice (insert coupon)
Final Price: $3.40 for both

(2) Lady Speed Stick Fresh Infusions Deodorants clearance @ $1.64 = $3.28
-$1/1 Speed Stick/Lady Speed Stick (insert coupon), used 2
Final Price: $1.28 for both


Walgreens:

(2) Dawn Dish Liquid @ $0.99 = $1.98
-$.50/1 Dawn (insert coupon), used 2
Final Price: $0.98 for both

Total: 11 items
Spent this week: $10.06 (had some leftover from last week)

Finally, Kim was able to spend just $1.59 out of pocket for all this stuff at Walgreens using Register Rewards from previous purchases. She scored 3000 Balance Rewards to boot.

  1. going with the spirit of the REALLY great deals, can we put a threshold of the item qualifications?
    for example, one of them could be that the snacks must have less than 300mg of sodium per serving..
    this blog so far has been dedicated to improving the quality of life, not glorification of junk food (which is not nutritious by the way)..

    just a thought..

    • Thanks Margo – These are all grown women who are deciding what to put on their own stockpile list for their families. I wouldn’t want to presume to tell them what to buy.
