I just love this table setting by Pottery Barn. So festive. But with a retail price of over $7 per stocking, I knew it wasn’t in the budget.
That’s when I decided to head over to my local Dollar Tree. If you’re not a frequent dollar store shopper, now is a great time of year to start. I found these little stockings 2/$1 – not an exact match for the PB version, but I think it still works! The napkins and placemats were found at Target, but there’s a tutorial HERE for making your own. The green plates were a thrift store find!
My local Dollar Tree was filled to the rim with holiday decor items, including full size stockings, santa hats, placemats, ribbon, candy and loads of other stuff for just a buck. Including…
Felt Santa Hat Chair Toppers!
So if you’re looking for some inspiration, head over to Pottery Barn. But if you need some realistic prices, visit your local thrift store and dollar store to make your own knock-offs!
