Family Bites has a great idea for an Ice Cream Gift Box.
Ways to save money on this gift (UPDATE – deals listed here are from Dec 2011 and are now expired):
- Get your chocolate chips at Target for $1.34/bag
- Use the 20% off Michael’s coupon (valid Sat-Sun 12/17-12/18) to save on sprinkles and a gift basket.
- Get $1.50/2 Archer Farms Snack Items Target printable and use to save on nuts.
- Check your local dollar store for misc sprinkles, bag candy or gummies to add to the mix (you can also probably find a container or basket).
- Buy a box of candy canes at Walmart for $1 and crush them up for another topping.
- Split up the chocolate chips, marshmallows, nuts and sprinkles and make two gift sets.
- Make your own chocolate sauce and caramel sauce.
