10 Blogs You Should Be Subscribing To {Part 1}

This was suppose to be a short-and-sweet list of my top 10 favorite blogs.
But I couldn’t shut up about them.
In fact, I had so much to say that I had to go back and edit my descriptions…
…a few times.
And it was still too long.

So since my long-winded opinions are such an essential part of this list,
*ahem*
I’ve turned it into a two-parter.

Here are my top five absolute, can’t-live-without, must-read-every-day favorite blogs you should be subscribing to if you’re not already.
{Besides this one, of course}

1) We Are That Family – She is a hoot!  Not to mention insightful.  And inspiring.  And spiritual.  And a hoot! This is my hands-down absolute favorite blog in existence.  I never go a day without visiting her site.  My favorite post: Either My Bladder Has Fallen or That Was Really Funny.

2) Pioneer Woman – A hilarious look at life on the ranch with a former-city-slicker-turned-cowgirl.  Recipes to-die-for and photography that will take your breath away.  Just be prepared for the occasional shot of basset hound ears, cowboy bums, and calf…er…um…well, I’ll let you see that one for yourself.  Favorite post? I could no sooner choose a favorite child.  Wait, that’s weird.  How about this one: Charlie: A Retrospective.

3) Annies Eats -  Self-taught cook and photographer extraordinaire who shares real-life dishes that’ll knock your socks off.  Oh, did I mention she’s also a resident physician and mom to a toddler?  Sorta blows my I’m-too-busy-to-make-things-from-scratch-every-single-night excuse.  Thanks a lot, Annie.  Check out her favorite dishes of 2010 Part One and Two.

4) Skip to My Lou – Cindy teaches us ways to add homemade to everyday life that are actually do-able!  Easy recipes, step-by-step craft tutorials, free printables and loads of holiday ideas.  So if you’ve been suppressing the Martha side of you because you were afraid you had to make your own paper from the bark of a tree or stuff a pillow from the feathers of a goose you raised yourself, stop over and visit this blog.  You’ll be hooked.  I promise.

5) Infarrantly Creative – I am constantly inspired to see the new ways Beckie takes a few bucks and turns it into something amazing for her home.  I mean amazing.  My favorite posts are her Roadkill Rescues.  What that girl can do with a discarded piece of furniture will shock and amaze you.  I’ve tried, Lord how I’ve tried to come up with just one rescue project worthy of a blog post.  But alas, the only thing at the side of my neighborhood road is an old wicker chair that looks like someone’s rabid cat had a go at it.  I betcha Beckie would make it into a lovely wreath or something…*sigh*
